Literary Adventures

I am reading Rick Riordan's new book, The Red Pyramid. I thought that I'd take pictures of many of the scenes in the books during my travels this summer. I'm going to New York and the obelisk in Central Park and the Egyptian Temple in the Metropolitan Art Museum are in the book. What great fun to travel along with the characters in the book!

As I'm reading The Red Pyramid, I realized that I have pictures from Scotland from scenes in the Harry Potter books. I'll be making displays of those as well next school year.

Only three weeks of school left and counting....

Hello. Welcome to our Travel Blog. We are planning a trip to Provence this summer. We'll be sharing photos and all sorts of adventures from France.

Also, we have become vegans in the last five months. Watch for our adventures as we are learning to eat plant-based foods on our travels. We may have to add dairy while we are visiting La Belle France, the land of more cheeses that one can imagine.

Finally, I am a school librarian and my husband is a retired school and college librarian, who runs at least five web sites that you will want to depend on for your research needs.
